So I was trying to think of some way to justify posting these two pictures of huuuuge cats that I came across today, the second via the incredible Tonk. Nobody wants to be one of those people, yknow, the kind that post cat pictures. The kind that have a bubbly logo of some cheesy-sleazy humour website stamped across a bottom corner. But eh, look at these cats. Kind of disturbingly redolent of when someone catches a huge fish, and then grins for the waterproof-disposable-camera-flash. Hello!
And why is the first person so happy? That cat looks like it could cheerfully maul a small child (wearing socks, at that – look at its paws). Unless the small child mauled it first. |

I’ve never seen anything like this before – onomatopoeic street art, and made with balloons? Presumably with added pop!s or maybe whizzzzes at the demise of the balloon. From Brooklyn based artist DBILLY. This seems to be the first work he’s done with balloons, but theres some sweet illustration based stuff. And something else I’ve never seen – though it’s probably been done before – words made with electrical tape. Interesting in that it looks photoshopped, but isn’t; I’d love to see this from afar.
