These images from Chinese performance artist Li Wei are pretty sick. According to the aesthetic poetic, it’s all mirrors, metal wires and scaffolding to create these illusions. Maybe it’s unfortunate that in pictures, they could pass as being photoshopped; I’d love to see this in person. Someday?

He seems unduly fond of the white t-shirt and bluish shorts combo; maybe its his lucky inversion outfit? Or just to add to the colour scheme perhaps, which I quite like – a suprisingly unhazy freshness, like Dubai just after it rains before the dust has time to descend again. Most of these are taken in Beijing, I believe. I’m reminded of some kind of ultraelevated, frozen parkour kind of thing with some of these.

Hey Man, Thanks for the link. I just strolled through your site and I dig it. Keep it up. Anyways, cool take on things. PS. I also added you as a contact on Flickr.
